For each of these you will mix the spices into the butter until well-mixed. If mixing by hand, you’ll want to leave it at room temperature to soften first.
Spiced Butter
- unsalted butter 1 stick (1/4 lb)
- spice mix 1 tsp
- sugar (brown) 1 tsp
- salt 1/2 tsp
Spice Mix – makes 6 tsp
This is the same spice mix used on the carrots
- ground cardamom 1.5 tbsp
- ground cinnamon 3/4 tsp
- ground mace 1/4 tsp
- ground cloves 1/4 tsp
- ground grains of paradise 1/8 tsp
Honey Butter
- unsalted butter 1 stick (1/4 lb)
- Honey 25g
